Step 12
Pin WAIST TIE to wrong side of front.
Staystitch in place.
Step 16
Pin front to back with wrong sides together. Tie should be between the two layers of fabric, not on top as incorrectly illustrated.
Step 18
Stitch seam with a 6mm seam allowance and then trim down seam allowance.
Step 19
Enclose the raw edge to create a French seam. Waist tie will now pop out on the wrong side.
Step 20
Press seam allowance and waist tie as directed in instructions.
