After measuring the pattern then I measured my body.
I recorded the measurements and adjusted the pattern by adding in some shorten/lengthen lines. There are full instructions on how to lengthen/shorten a pattern on pg 28 of the fit kit.

Lots of new skills to tackle: Flat felled seams, top stitching, front fly construction, jeans button insertion, sewing Velcro. I feel much more confident to make a pair of jeans now and that is the purpose. I took a little time to be able to translate the diagrams of jeans to the process of making the tool roll.
I enjoy learning sewing skills and this project is just the ticket for that? Very enjoyable and easy to follow instructions. Plus a great tool roll. I don’t wear trousers so jeans aren’t in my future but l recommend this project.
Love the design but didn’t realize it was a downloadable pattern before I bought it. I much prefer paper patterns. I’m disappointed I’ve paid for a pattern I’ll never be able to use
We're sorry the digital format wasn't the right fit for you. All of our patterns are downloadable PDFs, which we do our best to make clear on the product page, but we completely understand that paper patterns are the preference for many sewists. There are many online print shops that may be able to help you print the pattern for you.
I made the sleeveless view with some extreme colourblocking (pieced together most of the larger panels). Instructions were clear and the process was interesting (do not assume the next step based on other patterns!). Turns out I don't love a trapeze top (too much volume in the sides for my taste) but I'm confident I'll be able to adjust next round. Would make a great tunic by just adding some length and not changing the width. Would recommend as something different or a great way to make use of any small pieces of fabric you love but don't want to quilt with.
